And, away we go!

(A friend suggested we keep up with the progress of our new kitchen with photos. Never the one to take the easy route and simply shoot photos, we Frosts need BLOGS! So thank you Debbie for the suggestion.) Here goes:

After living in our house for the past 25 years, we've decided we need a larger kitchen. Either that, or Jack and I need something new to argue about! Ha. We've consulted an architect (thank you Morris Hoover), and Jack lined up some of his favorite employees. After just one day, you can see a dramatic difference!

This morning before I left for work, this is what our home looked like between the house and the garage.

This evening, this is what I found:

Great job David, Humberto and Juan! (Someone remind me to apologize to the birds that loved that little Yaupon tree :(
Oh well, we do have a few other trees!

And since we like to involve the entire family, Jack had to have a consultation with Zoe about the roof line:

Tomorrow they will continue preparing the piers for the foundation and begin taking some of the boards from the deck/breezeway off.
